With the greatest respect to Mark and others who share the purist view, I think there are so many bloggers now being paid for blogging that a focus on transparency is a more helpful approach. And it is possible to write entertaining advertorial, as those of us old enough and living in Sydney at the time can testify about the famous Pettit and Sevitt “conversation” ads for their houses. Everyone read them, everyone enjoyed them, we all knew that P & S did them to get us to buy their houses.
Wanted to read RapidWeb’s comments but IE7 would not open the blog – the website yes, but not the blog.
